My name is Nathan Whitcomb. I am a sound professional with over thirteen years of experience in production and post audio for film, tv, music, web, and more. I’m dedicated to providing the best sounding product even under the most difficult circumstances.

About Me:

I graduated from Chapman University in 2009 with a BFA in film production, after which I moved to Los Angeles and began working as a production sound mixer and boom op. In 2014 I was officially sworn in to IATSE Local 695 as a union boom operator. I also served as co-chair of the local’s Young Workers Committee from 2018-2022.

In 2022 I relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest outside of Seattle, and transferred into IA local 488. I love the scenery of my new home and am excited to make my way in the local production scene.

I also work on the post production end of the workflow, on projects ranging from shorts, trailers and commercials to full length documentaries and narrative features. I have experience in all aspects of sound design, editing and mixing, including foley and ADR. My home studio is capable of handing most post production assignments.
